NRA/Trijicon World Shoot

You guys are missing a great match, lots of 3 gunners here. There are a few little glitches but overall the match is fantastic and both the sponsors and shooters are very happy. It's half over now, two more days to shoot.

I'll get some more pics and put them on my fb, posting them here is kind of a pain, I would have to read through how to do it all again. I think my profile is open to public but any of you guys shooting ipsc, 3 gun etc, feel free to add me. Ken Kupsch.

We have shot Armalites that are not even in production yet, SCARs and tomorrow there's a stage we are shooting with suppressors. This is something you guys should look at for next year, even if you're new to shooting. I think the amateur entry fee is on,y around 200 bucks and that includes all your ammo for shooting 16 stages.

Round of invites went out first, then it opened up to everyone.
Pro, amateur and junior divisions.

Was interested in this one, but can only do so many events.
Plus $500 entry fee for the pro division is a bit on the steep side.

Yes, pro's were invited first and perhaps they didn't give enough notice to let amateurs know they could shoot too. They likely assumed with a 50 k first place prize, it would sell out with pros. It was a hugh learning curve for everyone, especially the organizers.

It's scheduled next year in oct and I recommend this to any of you guys. I have shot tons of national and world events but this is by far the most exciting.

You don't have ammo costs or travel hassles. You will shoot guns and use equipment you can't even own in Canada. You will meet a lot of interesting people and make some new friends. Also, I don't think I mentioned, factory reps from all the sponsors are not just here, but assisting on the stages they sponsor. How cool is that?

Every stage was fun, even though I don't know how I could have shot any worse haha. About 98% of my shooting is with an open 2011 but I'm changing that right now. It's going to be fun to practice with some of these other guns and other shooting sports.

I found stats on the Practiscore results page. They have each stage entered as a separate match, but you can find them all by searching "TWSC" or "TWCS", I forget which one
