This will be a 5-stage match using the January Course of Fire (to be released).

For those not familiar with the format, these are shot with 22lr rifles from 25-100yds on steel from 6" to 1/4" from prone, standing, kneeling, off props, etc..

Register below at the practiscore link, and note that your match fee must be EMT'd to myself before I will approve you to squad.

The match is capped at 30 shooters.

That is awesome.

Was it hard to work with NRL or was it pretty easy?

No issues yet! Just filled out the form to register as a club, and im having GongJoe make me the NRL22 target pack (quoted to me cheaper than the JC Steel pack).

Will run the match and then spend the $30 fee to get the results uploaded to their site and compared. Individual shooters would need to pay an NRL22 membership to have access to prizes, or be eligible for the season finale in Las Vegas.

Very interested in your experience getting this set up and running the matches. We are considering doing this here in Saskatoon, and would be more concrete if we thought we could get the CFO to allow it.

Ill definitely keep you posted. GongJoe is currently making the target pack for me with a couple stand options.

What are the issues holding you up with the Sask CFO? Our targets have to be shrouded, and while im currently using our IPSC club's shrouds, I will be looking to make some simpler A-frame shrouds in the future to make it more portable.

It's a fair question. I think we will have to shroud also. The other main issue I think will be having targets at 25,50,75,100 yard ranges all with their own backstops, I think we would need to come up with some form of temporary backstop at those intermediate distances on our 100m bay. What are you doing for that?

Can you send me details on how we could order the target set? Was your manufacturer local, or did they ship?

Im going through GongJoe targets in Quebec. He hasn't posted the set for sale yet as he's been doing up the prototype for me. Once that's good to go, im sure he'll have it for sale soon after.

He'd quoted me a west coast estimate of $50 for the kit, before reminding him I was in ON (which came to roughly $40).

Only 7 spots left for the match this Saturday. Got the GongJoe NRL22/ORPS target pack last week and just had it out testing the stand on frozen ground along with the new shrouds I built for the match.

(NOTE: the 1/3 IPSC is not included in the pack, and was purchased extra for bonus stages)

I was the MD for it, so I might be a tad biased...lol...but we had some gorgeous weather and temps with some challenging stages.

Next match is 6 Jan at the link below!
