Im trying to find the dovetail size for the norinco ns522. I tried to search but came back with either 3/8th or 11mm, what size is everyone using? and what brand and type are you using?.. I had the gun sitting in the case for awhile with a set of scope rings that dont sit properly on the arched receiver/dovetail. The rings never had a arch machined into them just cut straight across and they hit the arched receiver on the ns522. I think the brand is burris if I remember correctly I could be wrong

Scratch that. I remember now that the UTG did not fit because they are cut straight across. I bought these little beauties off of eBay and they worked awesome.

Ya I started using the Dremel on the rings but I figured just buy a set that fits... the Burris set I have you can flip the dovetail to fit either 3/8 or 11mm but which is which is beyond me. I have a dovetail to weaver adapter for my cz455 I guess I can try to match that up
I have a new Scorpio; same rifle, composite thumb-hole stock. These are amazingly smooth rifles that re super accurate. I picked some up, somewhere, that were fairly high profile (I had a big scope on it) and they fit just fine. Just look for some that have more clearance/deeper dovetail cut.
