I received my new NS522 (along with a JW20 and JW25A to round out the collection!) and a little before Christmas, thanks to CanAm's deals. I'm very excited to see what this gun can do, thanks to the NS522 mods thread...
But - long story short - during my initial deep clean, I managed to launch my left extractor spring plunger pin across the room, never to be found again.
It was one of those "Oh... CRAP!" comical moments that I may be able to laugh about in years to come.
Am I doomed? Or is going in search of a machine shop to carve me another, using the right side one as a template, my only real option at this point?
I feel like such an idiot for letting it happen! Next time, I'm going to do the reassembly inside a giant ziplock bag so if it tries to go for another flight, it'll get caught...
TIA for any wisdom or suggestions!
