I'm planning on being there for NCSS 2008 but I've just noticed that NSCC 2007 is in Sept this year which might mean that I could make it. If I'm reading it right the service rifle shoot is Sept 8 and 9. Is there any practice time on the range a day or two ahead of that?

What is the best airport to fly into, accomodations, etc...?

Ottawa airport.You can get rooms or tent space right on the range.Otherwise there are hotels within 20 minutes.Food you can eat at the kitchen for $10 or so.
 
usually the whole week before is practice talk to Hungry he might be able to help you out. I''m close to the airport (and i might be able to give you a ride to Connaught;) the nearist hotel would probably the conmfort inn
but i think you would be better off to pitch a tent or see if you can organize accomidations there at Connaght. first shots are usually down range before 0700
I sleep out there when i can if i am shooting .........saves a drive
 
I'll likely be staying at a chum's house. Haven't booked any quarters or arranged with any Mil Teams to crash at their modular tents, yet. We'll see as we get into Jul or Aug.

Unfortunately, there is little to no practice time before hand. One of the reasons the matches are so late this year is because of the PALMA. They shoot right up to the start of NSCC sniper. The first day of the service rifle match is the walk-back, but other than that there is next to no time. I have a hard copy of the schedule at work. Send me a PM with your e-mail and I will give you the highlights.
 
Not looking too good for timing it with work now. Good news is that the club is going to put a team together for next years NSCC.
