NSCC Sniper championship 2012 ....

Our very own Chou brothers did it again! These fellas are deffinately the top of the heap in Canada.
Second was Keith and Linda. Third was MDT tac and noiinteam shooting a remington in an MDT chassis.

Congrats Will and Kevin!

Looking at the outfits they are wearing and the rifles those guys are using, I highly doubt there was a stalk or any component of fieldcraft. I can understand it as a precision shoot but a sniper championship? It didn't look like that at the CISC.

I know the Chou bros were using .284s I'm guessing with a 180gr Berger VLD. I also know the third place team were shooting 155.5 triple nickles also by Berger. Anyone know what Keith and Linda were shooting?

Yes, very undistinguished performance though. Have found out the ocular assembly on my scope is wobbling.

A Falcon Menace.
Last year, my FM 1 1/2 -5 calved during the SR walkback.

Both these scopes had been working well until they didn't work well anymore.

Maybe I should reach the obvious conclusion.

I agree...I won it in 97...way different game then...No 1 and 2 on same gun(My no 2 was LT Ferguson)
Tactical withdrawls..fire and movement with a sniper rifle and kit..times have changed for sure...But..good shooting non the less

I remember you winning it in 97. I remember having to do the run back/shoot +scoot twice because someone protested. Wasn't good since my partner was in his mid 50s lol. At any rate the course of fire hasn't changed that much but the rules are different. Mind you we are talking about the nscc sniper as the cfsac one isn't run anymore. GL is right it does need a tune up.
