I recently purchased a 2ed hand TRG 22 from a store via online. The gun is in very good condition but the the picatinny rail was installed backwards. As a result only 3 screws and two studs are holding the rail down. Who ever installed the rail is a complete clown as he stripped the hell out of the flat head screws that fasten the rail to the receiver. As a result, I cannot undo two of them (the ones on each end of the rail), but they are really Fn tight. The pegs appear to be at least a light interference fit but I can't be sure since I didn't install the rail
I actually like the position of rail as is. If it was installed other way around, it would extend past the receiver and hang above the barrel, far too forward for my taste.
Do you think that with the 3 screws, and 2 pegs, the rail should hold zero?
