Numrich Barrels

I have a chance to buy a couple of numrich barrels in 7.62 for my Garands.
I had some of them years ago and although they shot well they were rough inside...lots of tool marks on the tops of the lands....hard to clean but otherwise no problems. In addition they were not short chambered.....You just screwed them in and hoped your bolt would headspace.
Has anyone had recent experience with these barrels? The price is good and I do not need match quality. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks in advance for your help.

I haven't seen a recently made Numrich barrel, but haven't you answered your own question?

I have used 6 that I remember, none in the last year or so. I could tell no difference from the Wilson arms barrels I bought from Brownells. Some had 4 grooves, some 6. All were short chambered.

Buy them anyway, and if then, you don't think you want them, sell'em to me!!
I rebarrel Garands all the time, and have the finishing reamer for the 308 as well, so maybe we could do a deal.... eh, know what I mean eh, nudge nudge, wink wink...

They will ship them, but yes, you need to jump through all the hoops first.
