On the mainland near Cambridge Bay. Was about 210 yards with a 223, Leupold scope. Next pic shows two snowmobiles and qamutiik at the distance from where I shot.

Caribou taste way better than deer. No need to let them dry, you can shoot and eat them on the same day. It is a dry cow which is good this time of year. I went with AB who I usually go hunting with over there. All overnight trips in the East here so went out West when my wife went there for work. She worked, I played
