NVG Gen3 : where?

we can provide a us made housing with Gen2+ photonis tube, which is better then most gen III o nthe market , with out an an end user cert.
many police forces in the US and canada are using this, as wel las the UK MOD.
I would put a genII+ photonis tube up against 80% of the Gen III out on the market.
price is good too!

Dang BBB! Throwing that out without even a approximate price is akin to going to the peelers nowadays. No touchie.
Or is it a matter of "If you have to ask, you can't afford" kind of thing?

Who has NVG Gen 3, eventually Gen 2+, PVS14 style in stock ?
Did you try Wolverine supplies, Alpha optics, Ram optics, Defense optics and Armament technology?

Nvg can't be sold in canada or the US without an end user cert.
Is this new? I believe end-user certificate are only required for tubes made in the US. And they're not the exclusive producer. Which makes your statement rather inaccurate.

X2. First time I heard that, and I know a few people both in the U.S. and Canada who own Gen III NVG.

 Even for tubes legally in country ?
Anyway I found a PVS 14 Gen3, new for $3500 (+taxes) and I'd like to see other options.

BB can you send me the specs and price of your model?

Personally. If u can get pvs14. Get it.
Yea many nvg/ thermal device will claim they have better/ clearer pic/ imagine. However keep in mind, pvs14 is a piece of analog electronic, meaning it's much faster repond to many software base nvg device.

I speak this from my own exeperience. If u want a high speed tool. Pvs14 is unmatched. Also the ruggness is unmatched compare to cilvi nvg

Just my 2c

what im saying is that many of the countrys that sell NV have restrictions of selling gen III, I.E. UK, holland, spain swiss.
as well as many others, that want to do biz with the US or any major nato country will not sell genIII to the public for fear of pissing off the US goverment.
I counld provid a Photonis Gen II plus in a US houseing for less then $3k that would work as well as many of the Gen III on the market.
Half the worlds NV makers are using Photonis tubes.

IF its somthing work related let me know I can help

Bulls**t statement, better back that "Canada" part up with facts...

Gen III and higher NVG's of US origin cannot be imported for non-approved civilian end-use, or re-transferred (sold, loaned, rented, etc...) to civilian end-use once already in Canada without written consent from the US DoS. Even a loss (oops: dropped it in the ocean) has to be declared when dealing with US ITAR technology.

As per..... the DSP-83 the original importer would have had to sign with the US DoS.

Devil is in the wording.

These are all American laws. It is not illegal to sell them in Canada, but the original importer will get his/her pee-pee slapped and probably be put on the US DoS "partied de-barred list" if they do not get authorisation for the sale from the US DoS beforehand. Good luck doing buisness with anything ITAR after that.

"Gen III and higher NVG's of US origin " would be the key phrase. We are too dependant on the US for this type of tech. Need to start supporting other countries for the same type and quality when possible. ITAR restrictions in the US sucks for us in Canada. Canada and other countries is legal;) Just a lot more $$$$:(

was typing on the BB when i wrote that, what it sould say is Gen III can no/will not be sold to civies in canada without an end user cert.
and yes i know of all the Canadian NV makers in canada and none of them will sell you a gen III unless your goverment, if they did they would not last long in the biz.

Sorry, was just a little grumpy due to all the trouble required getting the quality stuff for the prices the US enjoys:redface: I hate ITAR when I shop for toys/nv/thermal....

Gen 3 is available here in Germany, not a problem. So is thermal if you want to spend that much money. People use gen3 with huge I.R. Illuminators here for hunting wild boar.

I dont think they mind shipping to Canada. Considering he Germans make zeiss, schmit and bender and a few other great optics. I would trust them with my night vision.

Better to get in contact with some of the guys at AirsoftCanada.com they seem to have a lot more legit kit then Canadian firearms owners. PVS-15's and dozens of PVS-14's.
