Anyone notice the high prices for the nylon 66 now and I don't mean just here gun shops too. I suppose its like anything collectable they are only worth what someone will pay. Are they actually selling for high prices or just sitting on the shelf?
The very first gun I ever bought was a Nylon 77. I picked it up in 1972 from LeBaron when they were in downtown Toronto. It cost me $43 out the door. I remember that distinctly because I was debating buying it or a Browning BL-22 but the Browning was $80 and I remember thinking at the time "I can`t afford that".I have a couple of the clip fed 77's (10c). Two rifles for two kids. Think I paid 100 for one and 125 for the other, both with scopes, extra mags, and a bunch of ammo. Of course, that was in the 80's. You're right, the prices are nuts. - dan
