I must say I find it odd that Nylons that were $175 not that long ago are now being offered up at $300, doubt if anyone is buying them as this dollar figure, guess you don't know until you try. FS

Some people who are selling these units don't understand that "condition" is everything. I just bought a 7 out of 10 unit off this site in the past few weeks for $175. I also see similar guns being advertised at almost twice that price in the same condition. The better the condition the higher the price ... but, then if someone buys a lesser condition at a higher price, the seller is the winner. As with everything, know what you are buying.

My buddy sold one yesterday at a gun show in 90-95% condition with the original box for $250. He was asking $300 but wasn't getting any interest at that price.

I recently sold a very clean Mohawk brown one with a period scope on it for $225. Would've kept it if I didn't already have one just like it. They are neat little guns, and IMHO in good shape they really are worth 200 bucks.

Like the old saying goes--"they don't make them anymore". So if someone wants one bad enough, they will pay the price. We have all paid too much for a gun we had to have. But who says it's too much if a person enjoys it. The money would probably be wasted somewhere else anyhow.

Now days people have more access to credit then brains.

You are a new comer here and the rules, at least the unwritten rules, state we should be nice to new comers. However, I think it can be assumed that newecomers should show some respect to the very broad membership of this group and for the great knowledge of firearm values possesed by them.
The Remington 66 is of excellent design that came out well ahead of its time. Without argument, it has stood the test of time and $250 is certainly not excessive for one in good shape.
I once put a nicely colored one on the EE here in excellent condition, for more than $300. It went almost immediately and I had back ups.
