NZ 85B 22 Conversion

I thought of this some years ago, never tried it myself but the answers on here when I asked ranged from "don't know" to "no." Nobody said it fits, nor even said they had heard of a guy who said his cousin's friend had one that did.
I tried to do it. But I was very new to pistols at the time. I could fit the nz85 slide onto the kadet frame, but it won't go pew pew unless you remove the firing pin block from the nz85 slide. I couldn't get the kadet slide to fit my nz85 frame. It would go on about 20% of the way then it was too tight. I didn't attempt any further than that since I already had a full Kadet pistol and the slide would work on my shadow too. I was just playing around to see interchangeable options.
So yes.... I believe it will work but you might have to tweak the rails.

I thought about the kit. But 700+ $ is more then my gun is worth... So I just bought a separate 22.
