I recently bought a used Norinco NZ75 in very nice shape. Great shooter - good gun.

The gun is called a "clone" or "copy" of the CZ75 but one obvious difference is that it has a slide mounted decocker/safety not a frame mounted safety.

Are there any other significant variations between them? I can't find anything to indicate CZ ever had a slide-mounted safety. Kind of weird but works fine.

The NZ 75 is more of a clone of the tanfoglio ta 90 which is a clone of the cz-75.

I am a fan of Norinco’s and have the NZ-85b. It’s a good gun, but needed the grips and the hammer spring replaced. This improves the trigger greatly. The problem with the CZ copies is that the price point between the clones and the real CZ is not that great and that means upgrades to the clones (ie sights) puts the price very close to the real CZ, nullifying the advantage of the clone.
