I was cleaning my gun today and noticed that the O-ring is finished on my 11-87, I guess I finished it off last weekend goose hunting (had the original o-ring for a year). Now it is the middle of waterfowl season and upland season started today, my one shotgun is not working and I phoned every place in Winnipeg and they either don't carry them or are out of stock. My question is how long would it take Remington to ship them to my house? I need them A.S.A.P.

o ring

go to a supply house that sells/repairs hydrolics ask for a high heat o ring( they usually have a green/grey cast to them). they can match the size of the original and only cost pennies & will outlast the Remingtons. God luck!

You can use a regular rubber o-ring from the hardware store. I have used these in mine for the last 19 years without an issue, I just change them every 6 months or so. The factory, high temp, Viton, rings (whatever you want to call them) are most likely better but the cost is much higher and you can't run down to the hardware store to get them. Hope this helps to get you back in the game!
1 1/16 OD
15/16 ID
Plumber #33
Viton # 021

Thanks, I will give them a call, one place I called referred me to them, do you happen to know how long it will take to ship?
Thanks.

Longshot Terry, are those the dimensions for the o-rings? I think I will drop by the home depot today and pick up a couple, just need dimensions.

Thanks alot for the help!

Thanks, I picked one up the other day but could only find 1 1/16 OD 1 ID and it seems a little loose, maybe it will still work, but I gave Ultimate Accuracy a call and waiting for a call back to see if they have them in stock, I got the 12/20 goose hunt coming up this weekend and can't afford to have my gun not working, so hopefully they have them in stock and I'll be able to pick one up later today or tommorrow...........
