Hi all. Need to replace an o ring on the 1100. Rather than ship one from brownells with shipping, I did a little digging. It turns out you can use ' Viton' o rings in number 021 for it for the 12 gauge. Great, but.....

The only place I can find these is on amazon, for a pack of 50.

Is there a place such as Canadian Tire, home hardware, etc. that anyone knows of that sells them locally?

Thanks in advance!

I get them at bearing suppliers or transmission shops they use some viton.

Any automotive (NAPA, Carquest) or hydraulic parts/repair place should be able to get them...and a 50 pack ain't a bad idea nor a bad investment when you're shooting an 1100! Always carry a few spare with you when you're hunting waterfowl or at a competition cause when that $0.10 part fails it will ruin your shoot if you can't replace it on the spot.

I would just buy the 50-pack from Amazon and have a lifetime supply. Surely, the cost must be considerably less than $6/ring that the actual Remington part sells for.

I bought some a couple of years ago from a company in the us that makes orings. They were anout 15 cents each. So if you can get a 50 pack at about that cost each, that's the price of one from remington.

Fluidseal in Richmond, BC, Viton #021 $1 each, $10 minumun order. One in stock in Reliable, $29 for one. Also looking for one (I guess will be ten now), called yesterday to both places - actually, I called Napa and they sent me to Fluidseal.
