hello all i travel now and then to the UK,Australia, and New Zealand and do to stricter laws, especially in the case of the UK i am looking for a shotgun to take with me. the pump isnt allowed in the uk unless i permanatley scar it to having 2 rounds, now a few i have looked at are the cz o/u the bailkal o/u and might be willing to go as far as a winchester 101 or a browning citori i have also looked at the 600 dollar guns from savage and mossberg but dont know anything about them, i have also herd of lanber out of spain what would you sugest ? Ruger Red Label, new or used, one of the very few "made in America" O/Us.
I don't agree on the Red Label.

While I can't comment on Australia or New Zealand I have done some shooting in the U.K. and Ruger Red Labels are rarely encountered there.

If the objective is to bring over a gun with a reliable supply of spares if something goes wrong then a Browning (Miroku) or Beretta would be good choices that could be kept under $2,000.

In the lower price rages the Bakails are reasonably popular, the CZ's not so much but the Lanber mentioned in the original question is very common. The Lanber hasn't made much of an impact here but they have a good market in the U.K.
