Looking for some words of wisdom. I am in the market for a new o/u sub $2500 range. I make right guns work all the time. Is it worth it to buy a lh model? Are there rh models that have minimal cast? And yes, I have went to stores and can make them all fit decently. So lefties, thoughts?

Heat gun some oil and they bend like butter.
File work and checkering no more palm swell.

Browning lighting Citori is an option.

Let me tell you. A couple of years ago I purchased a LEFT HANDED Beretta Silver Pigeon Sporting 32" for a price close to your target price. I was told that all Beretta O/U guns imported into Canada were RH cast. I paid for the gun, but before I even saw it, it was returned to Italy to have the RH stock pulled off and a Lefty installed. I paid an EXTRA $200 and waited close to ten months for the work to be done. (If I'd have known the wait time, I wouldn't have bothered). The gun had LH cast with an LH palmswell.
It fit me beautifully. I wasn't getting enough use from it, so I sold it last week (and bought an A400X for hunting). I now regret selling it, because it'll be a headache to replace it later.
I'd suggest that you look for a lefty gun, or one with a neutral cast and no palmswell. Buy something you'll enjoy shooting, even if you need to save a bit more.

Having said that, my RH son used that LH gun to shoot his first 25/25! He didn't seem to mind at all.
