Hey guys. I was thinking of getting a Grizz with a folding stock. What length would be legal length 12.5", 14", 15"? I have seen them available in these sizes. Suggestions? Thx!

It isn't more than 3-4 times a week someone asks that exact question. Maybe you should try a search, go advanced and set the parameters for the last year. That should keep you reading for a couple of hours

lol..got it. I am terrible with forum search functions but ill see if i can manage.

Search is your friend.

Definitely not a 12.5" - ended up putting a collapsible stock on it. Ended up being 28-29" OAL if I recall. I'm pretty positive a 14" won't cut it either.

It depends on how much stock is behind the receiver when folded. A bird's head pistol grip (ie - quite long) makes 26" OAL with a 14" barrel. Regular pistol grips need a 16" barrel to make 26" OAL. And they are all legal, just anything shorter than 26" when folded will be restricted.

Oh and anyone know of 16" for sale anywhere and or muzzle brakes for grizz/870 that will add the extra "'s?
