Am I crazy here? Seems that although the controls of my new-to-me NP-20 are set up for a right handed shooter, the grips are grooved for a left hander. The groove on the right side is set lower than the right, and when held in my right, my thumb is ok, but my fingers don't line up. When in my left, thumb and index fit right in....
Is this a plot my china to make us crappy shooters?

My theory is that 99.999% of the people manufacturing small arms in China have no idea what real marksmanship is, or what it takes to make a gun _good_. That's why their rate of 'lemonitis' is relatively high... As for your gun...yeah, that's weird.

I'm not unimpressed with the quality of the rest of the gun. It's roughly finished, but tight. I intend to make new grips for the pistol anyway, so not a big deal, but yes, seems strangely intentional.....
