Obsolete Ammunition??

I have two old rifles and am looking for ammuntion. Remington Model 14, 30 cal and an 1895 Mannlicher Austrian Cavalry Carbine 8 X 56. Anyone know where I might look?

If I had those two rifles I'd be taking up reloading real fast.

"...30 cal..." Which one? Very likely a .30 Remington, but you have to know for sure. The Rem Model 14(discontinued in 1934) came in .30 Remington. It's not a .308 or .30-06.
Old Western Scrounger lists .30 Remington and 8 x 56 ammo. Which means Epp's has it or can get it. Won't be cheap.
The .30 Rem runs $34.95US per 20, the 8 x 56 runs $49.95US per 20, on OWS' site.
Make sure the rifles are safe to shoot before you buy ammo.
When you get that far(and you will be reloading if you want to shoot either regularly), I have data for the .30 Remington.

Thanks for all the info. The Model 14 is a Rem .30. I am going to clean them up and list them for sale. Thanks again for all the help.
