What is the probability of any OD Mosquitos coming soon?
The wife wants to have a go at handguns, so I may as well buy something that I'd like to keep around...
 
Not my favorite SIG, I'd go with another pistol as there have been many reliability issues with Mosquitoes for some time, just my experience..

Unfortunately, you had a poor experience under the previous distributor. The known issue of the Mosquito has been corrected - the slides are no longer failing on newly produced product.

For anyone with a used Mosquito, and has a problem, please email sigrepairs@mdcharlton.ca.

When was the misquito issue solved? Is there a way to find out if my fiancé's should be looked at? Markings or serial number?

Agreed. I have one. How do I know mine is Ok or not. Sometime I have an extraction issue, it's jammed. People said it's depends on the bullets that I used. I use CCi .22 LR High velocity. It is extremely rare to find good .22 LR bullets.

Currently, we have the following Mosquito's in stock in Canada:
- Desert Digital
- Multicam
- OD

All are supplied with the threaded barrel.

We have the 226BR-22 pistols in stock as well.

The production change occurred fall of 2014. No need to check or change anything; if you have an issue (fairly rare), your pistol will be repaired under warranty.
