Does anyone have a MP5 9MM magazine, and a 10/22 magazine? Can you compare the size and tell me if they are close?

Would one of these slide over it completely?

I am assuming that you mean like a 30rd mag? I don't have one, but that's made of rubber and should stretch enough to fit a BC or TI mag.

Why go to all that trouble? If you're having difficulty with mags not dropping free from the gun, see the 10/22 tips and tricks sticky, as I recently posted about my experience with that problem.

Mags are dropping fine. I simply want a mag that has a record of functioning well with this rifle (OEM), that are usable as 20 round mags, and that do not protrude very far.

So if I understand correctly, you'd want to use the magpul assist as a kind of cover for the bottom mag as you walk about the bush, and you would need to remove the magpul assist in order to insert the other mag in the gun?

Seems like a neat idea, I guess it'll depend on how easy and securely the magpul assist comes on and off.

WOW...that looked almost too easy!!??
I chased mine around the house with a rubber mallet and rag for 1/2 hr.
Only ended up with 2 blood blister! :D

It's too bad the company that makes the triangular mag tripler doesn't make a doubler version too. The mechanism of the mag tripler is an elegant solution, and is reversible as well.
