odd 9mm brass...

I think I have seen it laying around at my range too. Not sure where it's from.Take a look at the flash hole. Looks pretty tiny. Would probably give problems when de-capping.

I believe it is Swiss and as been pointed out the flash hole is a lot smaller than normal and will bind your press. I just recycle it.

I picked up an bunch of 9mm brass at the range today.:)

Much of it is head stamped DAG07 L0717 9x19SX

What is this?
Is it junk?

It is from the Swiss RUAG 9mm TSE brought in.
The flash holes are the same size as regular 9mm - Completely reloadable.

Beltfed have your reloaded any of the stuff. The brass has very small flash holes and are a pain dare I same almost impossible to run through a Dillon press. What you end up doing is punching a biiger flash hole in the case. The stuff I have shot here in Terrace from TSE certainly did not have the same size flashole.

IMHO better to just toss it. 9MM brass isn't that expensive.

You're right. I just re-checked the cases I ran through my 550 and all flash holes have been punched slightly larger. I made my initial comments after having run a handfull of them through the machine without any issues.

Ruag flash holes approx .060in vs the std .070. You can reload but u will have spurs around the new hole which need to be removed. You will probably have a busted decapping pin or 2 depending on the die maker. Unless you are in dire need of brass, you may wanna pass on it.
