a bit long winded, sorry ; I recently ordered a Muller U2 choke for my K20 because I already had a U0, U1 & U3 and wanted to complete the set as I'm impressed with the chokes. I get my new choke and it won't screw in more than 1/2 turn in either barrel and I'm not willing to force it (under a microscope the threads do not look damaged). Contact Muller, send the choke back and they send me a replacement choke that fits no better than the first! All of my existing Krieghoff and Muller chokes screw in fine so I'm pretty sure it's not the barrels.
So, does anyone in the Ottawa area have another K20 that might be willing to meet me and see if the choke works in their gun ? At this point I'm about $180.00 into the choke (original cost, return shipping and the UPS brokerage fees) and would like to satisfy my curiosity. I've re-contacted Muller, still waiting to hear back but I don't think I'm willing to spend another dime on this particular choke .....
