I was field stripping the P85 I inherited, (much easier once I found a pic on the Ruger forum) and when I'd had it apart and back together a few times, I noticed something different. Before this I'd got used to the long trigger pull, and it was not light by any means either. It also felt rough, almost gritty. Anyway, when I was going to put it away, I dry-fired it a few times and noticed that the pull was lighter, and smoother. My dad only put "a few rounds" through it, and the inside was as clean as new. For the life of me, I can't see what I might have done to change things, but I AM happier now with the trigger. Maybe some foreign object I didn't see shook loose...
