Guys,

Just bought an M305 off this site, and when I got it home I realized that the front sight is slightly canted to the left.

I know I will have to remove the flashhider (and the spot welds!), but is this something that can be remedied by myself, or does the barrel need to be 're-indexed'?

I looked through all the pages of the MBR forum and found nothing... any ideas? Sorry for being a noobie! Thanks....

I thought my barrel was canted to one side, but it turned out to be the flash hider itself. Take out the gas system plug, piston and the oprod, and look through the gas cylender from the muzzle, I could tell my barrel was pretty close by referencing it to the spring guide notch in the reciver. I will post a pic of my flash hider in a few.

The sight is adjusted to where it was zeroed before I took it off, but can you see how the cut out is too the same side as the sight and not centered with the base.
