Ok guys here are the rules.....

ANY Rimfire can enter, any scope, & ammo. IF anyone pulls one off with open sights I'll start a category for them as well.
Organized by caliber ie... .22, .22mag, 5mm, 17hmr, 17WSM ect....
1 target of users choice with 5 shot groups at 4 targets.
.22mag is minimum 1.5" group (average of all 4 targets)
1" group for the other rimfires. (average of all 4 targets)
Picture of gun, rest, ammo, targets must have average written on with caliper used for verification. All 4 targets should have group sizes wrote down beside each.
Can only post a target IF you achieve the desired requirements!!!!! Don't post if your close. Lets keep this thread clean and use another one for discussions.

Got it on my first attempt while I didn't get under 1/2" I did get very close.

did it just for giggles today in the wind.....less then desirable conditions and it took a few different attempts while setting the tuner up for my new lot of ammo.....swindlehurst action in robertson stock, eley match 22LR, harrel tuner seb neo front rest/rear bag....6...yes 6 wind flags

No, actually you are pm'ing guys asking them not to post anything other then results. You sent me a PM after I had asked a question seen above and said not to. People might have questions about the range, rifles, ammo and optics...
 
Had a couple goes at this till I got a target I liked, wanted all 3/4" or under but had one get away from me :) - suppose that's what ya get for using "non match" high velocity ammo :runaway:

Here we go. First try was a fail because I pulled one shot. 5 targets 4 are good.

Decided to give it a second go since its a nice day. Got it !

100 Yards 17HMR (also I think that one group will never happen again) the stars aligned and one group was under 1/2 inch with 3 rounds into the damn same hole!

Nice shootin! Those 0.4 and 0.5 groups would put you in the lead in the RFC 100 yard challenge, Honorary division. They've been wondering where all of those "tack driving" Savages have been hiding ;)

I dont think I will ever get an under .500 group again. Im positive that was an absolute fluke. Maybe consistent .500-.600 if I put a better scope on it. Its tough with the 3x9. The "cross hairs guide" the target has is not even visible at 100. Just gota put it center of the circle as best as I can. I have only done a small ammo test also. I need to try more but its hunting season so im blasting tree rats with this rig more then I am on the bench with it... On top of everything I have less then one MM of space between the barrel and optic so mirage is a #####. Did a lot of sitting around watching waiting for barrel to cool.

So far only tried

Vmax 17 Grain poly tipped.. It was the worst.
The CCI 17 Grain Jacketed hallow point.. (the best, what you see here)
CCI A17 poly tipped 17 grain.... It was alright.

Need to try some 20 grain ammo out. Also a few more 17 grain...

I was at the range with my son today having fun shooting 223 @300yds and ammo testing a 1971 1407 Anschutz.I figured hey since the 100yd range is right there why not?
I failed on my first attempt but got it on my second.
Rifle is a 1971 Anschutz 1407 22lr
Scope is a Night force bench rest 12-42x60.
Ammo was Center X shot off a rock BR and protektor rear bag.
Groups are .558/.599/.798/.751
Average group size is .6765
