hi, fairly new to cgn and firearms community. i just picked up a archangel kit for a 10/22 and will be getting a 10/22 tomorrow. seeing as i will not be needing a fancy stock, i only want a shorter barrel.

now through the research i have done on the internet, unless the rifle came from the manufacturer with a barrel shorter than 18 inches, it will become prohibited(even if staying over 26" oal)

basically all i want to know is can i buy the dlask 12" barrel and still go playing in the bush legally?

Yes, as long as you stay over the 26" OAL. The barrel does not have to be the OEM barrel, it simply must have been manufactured at that length by someone instead of cut down to that length.
