Planning a moose hunt to this area this year. Anyone ever been? Looking for any info on the area.

Used to bush fly that area out of Nakina, company had cabin on upper end good moose area and take fishing rod great Walleye !

I've hunted the area many times... IMO there are better options. There is a lot of native harvest pressure and the area actually sees quite a bit of hunting pressure.

The far north end does not get much pressure

Good, may be be you can find better. Shot a moose at Anaconda rd last year.

Yeah, unseasonal pressure, so see if you find better .

Thats a pretty big area. You have a specific area in mind? If you can get back to areas where road access is limited, you will do well. I'll be hunting 18A next year.
