Hello everyone !

Hope you're safe and sound..

I'm a young french canadian from Montreal in the end of his twenties,former reservist in the canadian army ( geezz,i'm kinda ashamed by the quality of my service..i was soooo grteen and stupid..oh well,learned quite a lot,he :rolleyes: ) !

I'm single if some pretty women are reading this by the way :D !

Small note : Latelly,i've been reading quite a lot about the Firearm Acts and i'm pretty discusted how our gouvernment his using our charter and constitution to whipe his ass..i'm a late bloomer you could say :redface: ..

So..here i am..a proud young man who cherish his liberties,rights and is not afraid of his responsabilities as well..

What areas of the firearms community interest you. Are you currently shooting, looking into it...?

Well,without saying i fired lot's of ammo,i pulled the trigger of almost anything a NATO soldier can fire with : M16,M240 Machine Gun,M249 Squad Automatic Weapon ,M72 LAW ,Carl Gustav 84mm recoilless anti-tank weapon,grenades..Got my hand on a M1911 Colt pistol but couldn't fire it unfortunatly,too bad :( ..

Oh..and the bastards didn't let my firing anything else than concrete rounds with the 84mm Carl Gustav..man,i was really pissed of this one ! Always wanted to see a M113 frying up in the air,eh :D ..

Hey outgunner !

I'd like to get my hands on a M1A/M14..but since i'm not very rich,i guess i'll have to get a Norinco from Marstar and replace the critical parts with USGI one's for a nice accurancy one after another as the budget permit..

But at the end,i want a nice set of weapons for many purposes : hunting,defense and if needed (i hope not), SHTF scenario..so it mean probably a M14 for main center rifle,a .22 for the small game and a remington 870 shotgun..all with at least 2500 bullets for each weapons (ok,maybe not for the shotgun :D ) at anytime ..

For now,i'll have to go take the class so that the bureaucrates can say i'm fit to handle a weapon (yeah,i know :D ..) then i'll begin to shop to get a weapon and probably buy 1-2 cases of ammo for the M14S to practice at the shooting range and maybe even hunt at the next deer season this year !

Thank a lot all for the warm welcome :redface:.. It feel great to finally understand that i'm not alone :eek: !

It's kind of a hard climate for us,"froggy"who like to pull a trigger here in Quebec..people are afraid of guns and for most,it's pretty hard to go pass the emotional level after polytechnic,concordia and dawson..

Damn,to me it is pretty obvious that the increase of home invasion in the last years are a direct consequence to the uprising of the socialitic way of controling guns and people in this province..let's not forget that Quebec and another province (crap,can't remember witch !) are the only one who enforce de C-68 law :mad: !

Oh,by the way..it was quite a shock to learn that we canadians have the right to bear arms as well ;) (http://www.rkba.ca/legal_basis_for_rkba.html ) !

Geezz,you're asking me a hard one buddy ! It's been many years since i have left the range..what i remember is "Sarge" telling me that my shooting was pretty good ! What he didn't know is that the weapon wasn't properly "zeroed" at all :eek: ! So i compensated quite a lot..man, theses scopes are really ####ty and the guys storing the guns don't give a #### i guess..

PerversPépère : Hey ! Glad to speak with you..where are you from !? I'm from Montreal actually..would be nice to see each other and talk a bit about weapons..most people don't understand anything when i'm talking about guns :D !

Kidding aside,could you explain !? I honestly have a hard time to see how it could be worst then montreal after the Polytechnic,Concordia and Dawson shootings :confused: ..

i live in Taliban Jacks riding,wicked Wendy work place is not far from me,our Mayor wants anything remotely looking like a gun be banned from the city,the mere suggestion of the word gun sends shivers down all my geeky neighbours. lots more but i'm sure you get the point

What a shame ! Geeks should understand us better than anybody else, many of them are the biggest virtual mass killers ever saw over the face of this planet :D ..Not counting they love their "hardware" as much we love our's :eek: !
