Oh Troy oh Troy oh Troy why why why

"No, really, the Second Amendment is important to us. Seriously, I mean it. Damn, they caught us doing sketchy stuff again. Seen any neat products lately that we can rip off?" - Steve Troy

Troy Industries is a strong supporter of the Second Amendment. In recent months, we have been more vocal about our beliefs, choosing to align ourselves with companies and individuals who are like-minded.

In response to the reaction of our customer base, Jody Weis will not be joining the Troy Asymmetric cadre of instructors.

We value the thoughts and concerns of our loyal customers. Troy Industries and its affiliated companies are strong supporters of the Second Amendment and will continue to promote this right through our products, statements, actions and affiliations.

Thank you

Interesting that we are so fast to judge without necessarily knowing all the facts, Troy Asymmetrical operates as a stand alone entity run by Kevin Miles who heads up that division, its no secret that he is ex-FBI and hired someone else from that bureau who had retired. I will agree that not the best job was done vetting the new contract instructor, when it was brought to the companies attention about the individuals past they acted like any company committed to the second amendment. We all seem to have forgotten the multimillion dollar screwing that Troy took from Dicks Sporting Goods, right after the Sandy Hook shooting Dicks cancelled orders and screwed thousands of customers for the sake of political correctness. While I do not always agree with how gun politics are handled both here and in the US, lets consider how easily any company could fall foul to this type of incident. It's fair to say that corrective action was taken in this matter, what long term damages or issues surface are yet to be seen.

I agree Gadget but when I hire someone i try to know at a thing or two about them, not just skim his cv

How about a TROY 'Fire Sale'. And having some actual TROY product in stores.... I was in some little dump in Indiana last week. They had more TROY than I have seen in a long while.

That would be nice..............

We live in interesting times.

If you have an internet presence (which everyone here does), you really can't hide from anything you've done and are stupid enough to post about.

What credentials would someone like this even have to be remotely attractive as an instructor? Being a disliked and controversial political police figure?

Maybe they should consider Julian Fantino? He's 100 lbs overweight and can't shoot, but I'm sure he'd make a great instructor.. WTF?

Maybe they should fire the VP of Human Resources, and the recruiter reporting to him as well.

It's time some executives take the chop down for their idiotic decisions.
