Oinion on upsizing premium brass

Do you think upsizing a premier Nosler brass in 270W in to a 280 Rem and using it for a 280 Rem rifle will affect accuracy because of the upsizing of the brass?

In other words, if I upsized Nosler brass in 270W in to 280 Rem, would it shoot different than Nosler brass made for a 280 Rem??

You'd have to neck it up to .30, then back down to 7mm to get a false shoulder. After you fire-form you'd have .280 cases that were short. I just can't see it being worth it.

Using 270 brass for a 280 is NOT going to effect accuracy. The 270 brass fired will have a neck very close to the size you require for the 280. Check to fired 270 brass in the 280 if it chambers a bit snug you are good to go. If it is loose you may have to fireform, seat the bullet out into the lands and you do not have to create a false shoulder on the neck for fireforming.

Part of the shoulder material will become neck material when the neck diameter is expanded. This material is thicker. After firing the thicker portion of brass will be forced to the inside of the case at the neck shoulder junction....where the doughnut can occur.....but only an issue if you are seating the bullet bearing surface below this point. Otherwise it is fine.
