Ok - School me in 7.62 x 39 ammo ....

Are there any tell-tale visual signs of corrosive vs non? So far I can find corrosive for <$0.25/rnd (before taxes and shipping) quite easily, but the cheapest non-corrosive I've been able to find is $0.50/rnd (not including the Chinese surplus at Lever that you guys are saying is actually corrosive? What's that based on?). I'd prefer to run non-corrosive but I'd rather not be paying twice as much.

Also slightly off topic but if any of you can direct me to a guide for cleaning up after firing corrosive that'd be greatly appreciated.

No chance the NC will be 200 bucks for 1000. Bet we all wish we had stack it till the concrete cracked.

LeverArms NC is a crap shoot, no thanks for a XCR.
CanAm is working on a new batch on non-corrosive Chinese made x39... Apparently it will be in shortly.

There is NO such unicorn as non-corrosive x39 surplus... DESPITE what Lever Arms claims!!! Fear not, it's easy to clean up with a bit of hot water followed by a very light oiling.

I know of no brass surplus. Again, fear not... As you state, these rifles were built to consume this ammo.

RELAX, and embrace the Red Rifle!!

I got enough NC when it was 200$, not for a life time. But enough to be able to wait till I see crazy sales.

Still trying to burn my Corrosive anyways.
