Looks like one of those UTM training cartridges that shoots a light bullet or paintball. Tootall and I test fired a similar cartridge at SHOT 2 years ago.

Looks like a case seperation, but can't figure out what's inside.

Looks similar to one half of an adapter I've seen for shooting .22 LR out of a .223 AR

CanAm is the pretty much right, the only difference is that this one uses the original bolt. I had the opportunity to use all of the UMT rounds and a few extras
that are in the pipeline, like the one seen here. I also got hit by them! Not Fun at all! These things make paint ball look pretty said!
