Okay i am residing in Edson Alberta now!!!!

Okay fellas, i am staying in Edson now working during the week at the mine south of Robb. I have seen tons of does around hwy 16 and a few bucks on the way to the mine. I was wondering if anyone can point me in a general direction for some good evening whitetail hunting after work??

head towards Cadimun. Lots of bucks either side of the road. I have hunted the area lots & just take side roads & keep an eye out. They are everywhere.

Just did a job at fickle lake,,,deer everywhere,whitetails muleys and moose...Did not see any huge ones but lots there.. Road actually goes all the way to a nice river..Very scenic

Hey Mark, I'll be driving through your new digs on Friday afternoon. I go hunting up between Whitecourt and Swan Hills for a week every year and turn off 16 right at Edson. I usually have 3 stops on the way into camp - first I hit the Cdn Tire in Hinton to pick up my tags, then stop in Edson for liquid sustenance for the upcoming week, then Whitecourt to top off the tank and the jerry cans and pick up some ice. Lots of mulies and some moose up where we hunt and the occasional whitetail.

Hey Mark, I'll be driving through your new digs on Friday afternoon. I go hunting up between Whitecourt and Swan Hills for a week every year and turn off 16 right at Edson. I usually have 3 stops on the way into camp - first I hit the Cdn Tire in Hinton to pick up my tags, then stop in Edson for liquid sustenance for the upcoming week, then Whitecourt to top off the tank and the jerry cans and pick up some ice. Lots of mulies and some moose up where we hunt and the occasional whitetail

.............sounds like an awesome trip Jerry!! I am unfortunately commuting back to fort crack (mcmurray) thurs night. Next time we need get together!!

.................actually i lined Sean up a couple weeks ago. just gotta get my schedule straight. from what i have heard he is a class act!

Drive out of town on 16 highway towards the west, a few KM out of town is a turn off to the south, there is a Talisman gas plant (I can't remember if you can see it from the highway or not) the road goes right by the plant, over some railway tracks across the river and you are out into crown land in no time. There is a lot of roads and country to hunt, one man can not hunt it all. I was out that way a few years ago hunting a big non-typical whitetail that I never ended up getting. He is probably still out there.
