Oklahoma State IDPA Championship (More videos added)

Well, what a great match!!! 222 rounds in 15 Stages including a low light shoot house!!!

The USSA range is SPECTACULAR! The shooters in the Tulsa area are truly lucky to have the facility to use.

I ended up with a score of 410.98 and a trophy for 1st Place Sharpshooter in SSR; despite losing the rod in my fibre optic front sight half way through the match. (My score even beat all the SSP Marksman's scores!)

Shooting a revolver in a major IDPA match was a real eye opener. I learned a lot and had fun to boot. In fact, I'm going to shoot my Model 19 again in the New England IDPA Regionals in New Bedford, MA in August.

Anyhow, here are some videos from the match:

Me on Stage 3 - 'Baghdad Boogie'.

Me on Stage 5 - 'Rooftop Serenade'. (This was a stage from the 2008 IDPA Indoor Nationals this past February.)

This is Matt S. from Alabama on Stage 6 - 'Double Trouble'. Matt is a Master Class CDP shooter who shoots a (and is sponsored by) Nighthawk Custom.

Me on Stage 7 - 'Ice Storm Blues'.

Me on Stage 10 - 'Is This On Candid Camera?'. (I think when I bumped my gun taking it out of the drawer is when I lost the rod on my fibre optic sight.)

Me on Stage 11 - 'Auto Ambush'.

Rumour has it that the 2009 IDPA Nationals will be held here in Tulsa at the USSA range. I hope the rumour is true. I definately want to come back.
