OKO vs EOTECH

so im in the money for a new sight, whats better the eotech like the one i use at work or the oko? is the oko a holographic sight as well or something else?

any an all answers welcome

My only experience is with the Eotech,, and I haven't heard much about the OKO. I'd stick with Eotech for the close in stuff.

As with any genaral question, the answer depends on the specifics. Eotech sights are more durable, but they are also bigger, heavier and more expensive. If these criteria are important to you, then maybe the EoTech is the wrong sight.
There are also Docter Optik, Aimpoint, and several other manufacturers of red dots, and they offer different weight, size and price options too.

Never having used the OKO this is going to sound weird but I'd go EoTech. I really like the circle/dot combo to the single red dot sights. Way quicker to aim IMHO.

However, if the price was right I could very likely get used to the OKO.
