I recently picked up an Iver Johnson 55a revolver and I'm wondering, is there any reason not to shoot mini mags out of it?
Should i stick to standard velocity maybe?

These handguns shouldn't be beat up too badly by newer "spicy" loads, the rounds are built to same pressure spec?

What do you figure the pressure difference between a mini mag and a standard velocity actually is...? I would think it would be pretty negligible when dealing with a revolver?

I don't know much about handguns so not sure if this is good, bad or no advice at all. A buddy of mine has a Smith and Wesson 22 rem jet/ 22lr revolver. To shoot the 22lr you put these aluminum sleeves in the Chambers and load the 22lr into them. Anyway he shoots mini mags, stingers and velociters in it with no issues.
