Just picked up some 303 ammo from 1943 and got a little suprise, There were 3 older rounds, one DAC 1915 with an arrow inside the C, one is stamped with D up arrow C, C VI, 6 and 06. Next one is the same with faint stamping and no visible 6 or 06.
The 1915 is a pointed bullet, the other 2 are round nose. All 3 are nickle silver colour.
My questions are, are they rare enough to keep, are they valuable collectors or shooters?

They are not overly common. However they are also not very expensive, figure on about 3 or 4 dollars each. If you decide to collect 303 they will make a very good start to your collection.

If you just have to fire that 1915 dated round here is what I would do to send it on its one time trip downrange, find someone to loan you 1915 dated SMLE (or any WW1 dated would work) and next year (2015) send it on the way. This would be my fall back thing to do if I did not save or sell it.
