I have a rather old anschutz singe .22. I got it when I was a kid (1965) and it seemed to be old then. There is no model on the gun, and the seven digit serial number starts with 0144###.

The extractor is like a 1/2 washer attached to a rail, with a hook on the end to be pulled back by the bolt. The original was machined from a solid piece of metal. I did try one that was made by stamping and folding sheet metal. It fit enough to extract the casing, but the “washer” was not thick enough. That may have been a newer CIL part. (I do not have access to that part anymore)

I would much appreciate anyone who could take a photo and dimensions so I could have a replacement part made.

Thank You

Hello Mikemcd,

Does this look familiar?

IMG00094.jpg

The markings on this one are:
CANADIAN INDUSTRIES LIMITED . MONTREAL CANADA
CIL MODEL 111
483###
Made by J.G. Anschutz ...

The photo is crappy but if this looks right to you I can put together better photos and take dimensions.

Cheers

The Model 111 has the stamped extractor, Kagey, and I believe Mikemcd is looking for an older solid version. If the 111 type works it might be worthwhile (in the absence of finding an original pattern) to make one with a thicker half moon and adjust in fitting.
I took pics and measurements of a 111 unit a couple of yrs back for another CGN member in a similar situation so I might save Kagey a bit of work with his offer if requested.

Waba is correct. I do have an older model. There is nothing on the barrel except the Anshutz logo and serial number. I'll post a photo as soon as I find the "Upoad Image" button.

I did have access to a stamped extractor, but the half moon was not thick enough. Often the brass would split blowing a bit of powder back in my face.

The extractor DID work well enough to be used as a template to machine a new one. Thank you Kagey for the idea. I'll see if I can find a model part from a 111.

I have 180 if the part is same and not available mail my maybe im can make this part...

I expect I will have to have the part made somewhere. If I can find a model someplace it would make manufacture a bit easier. I'll have to see if I can find someone local with a 180, unless you are near Vancouver.

Thanks

If is same of 180 im just copy this part for you, i have 180 in hand.....
