Old browning Auto 5

Hello I have a 1953 browning auto 5 with the magazine plug removed. My problem is when I load 3 rounds in my magazine they dont stay in the magazine and slip out and get stuck under the bolt. Basically jamming the bolt and preventing me from being able to rack the bolt back. It is especially dangerous since I have had a live round in the chamber and since I cant pull the bolt back. I need to remove the forend and barrel just to get the live round out. And then I need to remove the magazine spring just to fish out the round stuck under the bolt. Anyone ever had this happen?.

Sounds like the mag cut off (("shell interupter") is worn down / out / missing. Not sure how many pcs make it up. Here's the schematic for it...and a link to Numerich Arms where I found this.
