With all the CZ love on here I wondered if any one has done an accuracy comparison. I have an old (59) #3that I like. There are a couple new models I also like. Can't have to many good 22s ;). Would like to here from those with both.

Had both a CZ American and a Varmint. The American shot very well right out of the box, but the Varmint needed tinkering with the bedding to get it consistent, would shoot very well one outing and have fliers the next time. Have a CZ Scout I bought for my son, and it is very accurate as well. None of them compare to the 1958 Brno Model 5 that I have though. Least picky rimfire I have ever seen and an absolute tackdriver with more expensive ammo. It's a keeper for sure, was a truck gun before I got it, but cleaned up nice. With their favorite ammos the CZ's shoot very well, but they don't have the same old world charm and quality of workmanship. JMO.

I have some BRNO number 2's and Egyptian copies made on BRNO factory equipment. They both shoot about the same. Egyptian copies have a nicer finish.
