DGY - I suspect that "old" is a relative term - maybe related to when one was born? I have small collection of rifles and shotguns made same year as I was - so 1955. I suppose some would consider those (and me) to be "ancient". Is also a number of WWI rifles here - so made circa 1917 or so - I do consider those to be "old" - I believe others on CGN own (and use) firearms built mid-1850's or earlier - I suspect most would agree that is getting to be "ancient" - but some, like me, would still consider a 1998 30-06 to be kinda "new-ish".
