I acquired a 1910 Winchester single shot and these old shells came with it. This is a good sample of old CIL Dominion shells, short, long, long rifle and shot.
The owner had owned the rifle since 1945. I have shot Dominion 22 shells since before that time period and for after as long as the ammo was made, but I had forgotten about the rings in the cases.
All had the standard head stamp of "D."
Does anyone remember those rings on the old cases?
