Old Enfield value

Condition...condition...condition. It could be worth anywhere from $200.00 to 350.00 if it's ordinary. If it is something rare or special then it's worth whatever the collectors would pay. It needs to be looked at by someone who knows. Bayonet would have been worth $75.00 a year or two ago but for some reason they are lower now. Good luck, Dave

I'd agree with the above. The gun is a Lithgow, made in Australia. The whole thing as a package could fetch $400-$500 if the serial numbers match, the stock has not been sanded and the bayonet has not been sharpened.

Agreed. And a matching bayonet / scabbard? I'm sure some folks would be willing to spend lots for this feature...

From the pictures, the bayonet could be mismatched (Wilkinson mfg...). The butt stock is dated 1943, and the receiver 1942. Still, quite nice,

Lou

The bayonet is British as the Aussies blued the blades.. Lots of 1907 bayonets on ebay for all ranges of prices, no scabbard means less money. $50 ish

Does the rifle serial's numbers match (Bolt, Receiver, barrel, rear sight, stock end, nose cap)? Non matching $250, $200 if the barrel is dark & worn, $350 if matching...

$400 for the lot if matching

$300 if not and a good bore.

They come up often, not as much as before.

OK thanks guys! I just looked at the serial numbers and the bolt/receiver/nose cap all match, cool. I don't see any other numbers and it doesn't look like the wood wants to come off really easily from the barrel so I'm just going to leave as is. My dad says it's his best investment ever since he bought it for $9.99 LOL. He is going to hang onto it for now yet..
