I have a couple of those, one that's saturated with cosmolene and wrapped in brown paper. It also has the Czech Lion crest on the receiver. It's the only one I've seen in the wrap. The other I shoot. Zero finish left on it, a total mix master for parts, other than the bold and receiver are force matched, on a dirty and beaten laminate stock. Looks like its been dragged through hell and back but it has an excellent bore and is a great shooter. When I bought it, I was lucky enough to be able to shoot a dozen rifles when I bought it and it, of course out shot the pack. To bad it was the ugly duckling. Oh well sleepers do have their uses.
That is a very nice looking rifle Klunk. It's almost enough to tempt me into building one up. It also looks to be a great shooter.
To bad there aren't more milsurp shoots going on. They're few and far between and not well advertised. Unless you belong to the particular club putting one on, it's usually after the event occurred that I hear about it.

Beautiful rifle! Does it still have the original Waffenampts and receiver code/date? Or has it been Hebrewed??

Those Israelis are always nifty lil' guns. :)

Wish I hadn't sold my LSR. :(

Mine's a Brno, shoots nicely, best $100 I have spent. You do have to get the first round positioned correctly to feed, after that the recoil sets them all up properly.

grinding!

looks great, can you see through the scope with your cheek on the stock, look

nahh...its more of chin weld

the forward bit of the scope base needed about 1/8" ground off to bring scope into alignment and still have a range knob correctly set (100m for the group pictured)
