Old for New?

Hi guys, just wondering what you think..... I got 2 semis auto....one is a Franchi the other Smith and Wesson, both 12 guage, about 25 yrs old and both 2&3/4 and modified chokes on each. I can't get screwed in chokes on either one....both are in decent shape.... not used a whole lot over the years...should I try and sell them and buy myself a new shotgun with screwed in chokes.... and if so what is a good economical/priced shot gun that will suit all small game and water fowl needs.... thanks...
