Thanks in advance.image.jpgimage.jpg

Early model 45 Ideal made by Lyman. Discontinued in 1967. Current Lyman and RCBS sizers and nose pieces are the same. From your photo I can’t see any damaged or missing parts. Only way your going to find parts is used except for the sizers and nose pieces which they still make.
I have a 45 set up for pistol bullets it works well. They are not as strong as current Lyman or RCBS,the reason I use it for pistol only. No reason not to use it. Mine is screwed to a piece of 2x4 so it is moveable and C clamped to the bench.

I picked up one of these at a flea market, a couple of years ago. After a good cleanup, it looks and runs like new. Snider Shooter is right....these sizers are a bit more delicate than current 450 sizers. Mostly because there is more going on with them mechanically(alignment rods, etc.). But, no reason not to use one. Once set up, they run very smoothly. As mentioned....all current Lyman sizing dies and punches fit the press. I can't see anything obvious missing from your press, either. Aside from the press being grungy and needing a good strip and clean....you should be fine.

Snurge: Most sources I've seen regarding the Ideal sizer, recommend replacing the old pressure nut, with one from a 450/4500 sizer. As lube reservoir barrels are similar in inside diameter. Lyman part no.: 2990708. I have not yet had to do this, but makes sense. If in doubt, contact Lyman directly, for more precise information.

As far as o-rings, you can buy replacements at Canadian tire. Ordinary plumbing o-rings. Dimensions: 13/16" ID X 1-1/16" OD X 1/8" Wall. These are a perfect fit. At least, for the 450/4500.

Hope this helps.

Al

Edit: I may just replace the pressure nut, after all. The brass collar on the 45's pressure nut is prone to a fair bit of lube leakage. Annoying. I generally use the 45 with soft lube only(Bullets for bp cartridge revolver). So no issue with damage to press. Extensive use with hard lube could be problematic, though.
