Old NORINCO import legality quesiton

I saw some old Norinco type 56 S (AK 47) semi auto for sale floating around on other website for the similar price of CZ 58. The advert says it's pre ban imports. What's the legality of this stuffs? Thanks.

No, canadian website. Item located in PQ. There are more than one for sale. Some of the adverts are old, but there are two on 2nd page.

Prohibited rifle . Yes there are many in Canada . Yes you can own & buy them IF you have 12.5 on your licence .
No you can't shoot them even if you legally own one .

ok, thanks. that's cleared up my question. I don't have 12.5 endorsement and I'm sure I need the Queen of England's edict to grant me one. None of the advert said it's prohibited rifle, otherwise I would've left it alone. I guess the seller assume everybody knows about it.
